Miniature Printed Carpet - Erme

A white horse, saddled and ready, stands in a red medallion at the centre of a lapis field. Around it runs a turquoise frame of galloping horses, and beyond that a wide border of saddles, stirrups and bridles, a horseman's whole tack laid out like an inventory.

Printed on polyester chenille, a soft, velvety surface with a faint sheen that takes colour the way good paper takes ink. High-resolution digital printing carries every hairline of the design onto the rug, from the smallest leaf to the vine in the border.
