Miniature Printed Carpet - Shahin

Shahin is the falcon, the prize bird of the royal hunt. It spreads its wings in a lapis medallion at the heart of a hunting park, where leopards leap, ibex and hares run between cypresses, and birds keep watch from the branches.

Printed on polyester chenille, a soft, velvety surface with a faint sheen that takes colour the way good paper takes ink. High-resolution digital printing carries every hairline of the design onto the rug, from the smallest leaf to the vine in the border.
